Larger sumo competition for heavy-weight robots.
Mega Sumo robots aim to push their opponents out of the Dohyo while strictly adhering to fair play and competition rules. Because the category involves autonomous robots, all movements and strategies must be pre-programmed.
Participation is open to all age groups. When deemed appropriate by the Competition Committee and judges, matches may be evaluated in separate age groups including High School (16-18) and above.
The Start module to be used in the competition must work with RC5 code and comply with Article 15 of the competition specifications. Fibonacci International Competition Remote will be used in the competition.
Participation in this category is paid and the cost per team and robot is €100.
